Kyle Higdon of Centreville, Maryland was sentenced to six and a half years in prison in the Queen Anne’s County Circuit Court on June 2, 2015 following his plea of guilty to burglary and theft scheme charges. The Judge suspended five and a half years of that sentence.  Higdon will serve one year in the Queen Anne’s County Detention Center.    Higdon was arrested following an April, 2015 investigation into a residential burglary in Centreville. Numerous power tools and other items were stolen during the burglary and police quickly developed Higdon as the individual responsible for the crime.

Following his release from jail, Higdon will be on supervised probation.

Assistant State’s Attorney Jennifer Doud prosecuted this case.
