Trent Poulsen, 25, of Grasonville was convicted of possession with intent to distribute Xanax. Poulsen, a former EMT, was contacted by police on September 24, 2016 following a motor vehicle incident in the area of Rt. 18 and Grasonville Cemetery Road. During the investigation police found Poulsen to be in possession of 149 Xanax pills.
Poulsen was subsequently sentenced to 30 months in prison. The Judge suspended all but 10 days of this sentence, which Poulsen served at the Queen Anne’s County Detention Center. Poulsen is currently on two years of supervised probation.
