Bruce Becraft, 60 years of age from Odenton, Maryland, appeared in the Queen Anne’s County Circuit Court on January 22, 2015 and entered a guilty plea to Fourth Degree Sexual Offense.  The plea agreement stems from an investigation conducted by Detectives from the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office in which Becraft fondled a six year old female juvenile in June of 2014.

Becraft was sentenced to one year of incarceration with six months of that sentence suspended.  Following Becraft’s release from incarceration he will be placed on three years of supervised probation through the Division of Parole and Probation.  Becraft will also be required to register as a Tier I Sex Offender for 15 years.

Deputy State’s Attorney Christine Dulla Rickard prosecuted this matter.
