42 year old Angelo Palumbo was sentenced to twenty years in prison with 10 years suspended in the Queen Anne’s County Circuit Court.  Palumbo entered a guilty plea to possession of Heroin with intent to distribute and illegal possession of a firearm.  Upon his release from incarceration Palumbo will be placed on 5 years of supervised probation.

In January of 2015 police were conducting an investigation into a shooting that occurred in Grasonville.  During the course of the shooting investigation, police learned that Palumbo was allegedly storing Heroin in his Stevensville residence intended for sale in the community.  Police also received information that Palumbo was in possession of firearms.  A search and seizure warrant was executed on Palumbo’s residence at which time police recovered firearms and an amount of Heroin that would indicate an intent to distribute.
