A Queen Anne’s County jury found 34 year old Shane Reeder of Stevensville guilty of Driving Under the Influence and Driving While Impaired following an October 30, 2015 trial in the Circuit Court.
On May 7, 2015 a Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Deputy initiated a traffic stop on Castle Marina Road in Chester and found Mr. Reeder to be the operator of the vehicle. Mr. Reeder was determined to have been consuming alcoholic beverages and performed field sobriety testing unsatisfactorily. Reeder also refused to submit to a breath test to determine his level of inebriation.
Reeder was sentenced to 18 months of incarceration, the Judge suspended all of the sentence except for 15 days. Reeder was also placed on 3 years of supervised probation.
