State’s Attorney, Lance Richardson, who has been an advocate for the building of a new Circuit Courthouse in Queen Anne’s County, assisted the current County Commissioners, former County Commissioners and other members of the community in the ground breaking for the new Courthouse. The ground breaking ceremony was held August 23, 2016 at the construction site on North Commerce Street in Centreville.  Construction of the new Circuit Courthouse, which will be a state of the art facility, is scheduled to begin in the very near future.
