On May 2, 2017, Courtland Quincy Goldsboro, age 29, of Church Hill, Maryland entered a guilty plea to Conspiracy to Distribute Heroin.  Goldsboro was sentenced on June 30, 2017 in the Circuit Court for Queen Anne’s County to 20 years in prison.  14 of those years were suspended and Goldsboro will be required to serve 6 years of the sentence at the Maryland Division of Corrections.  Upon his release from prison he will be on supervised probation.

Goldsboro was arrested in Grasonville, Maryland as he returned from “re-upping” his heroin supply in Baltimore, Maryland.  His arrest was the result of a lengthy investigation into the distribution of heroin at the Courtyard Inn located in Chestertown, Maryland.  Law enforcement received numerous complaints from citizens about constant drug activity occurring at the Inn. During the investigation Mr. Goldsboro was identified as the primary suspect in the heroin distribution that was taking place at the Inn.

Assistant State’s Attorney Jennifer Doud prosecuted this case.
