James Oliver Robinson, 29 of Grasonville, was arrested in 2015 following a search and seizure warrant served by the Queen Anne’s County Narcotics Task Force.  During the raid, police found Robinson to be in possession of cocaine.  Robinson has prior convictions for drug possession.

Robinson entered a guilty plea to possession of cocaine as a subsequent offender and was also found guilty of violating probation in another case.  On March 10, 2016 he was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison for both the cocaine possession and violation of probation.  Robinson also received an additional 15 year suspended prison sentence on another violation of probation case.  He will be placed on supervised probation for 5 years following his release from prison.

Assistant State’s Attorney Jennifer Doud prosecuted this case.
