A 30 year old Denton, Maryland man entered a guilty plea to felony theft on May 5, 2015 in the Queen Anne’s County Circuit Court. Darrell Timms was sentenced on June 30, 2015 to nine years to the Division of Corrections and must pay back the victim in excess of $5,000.
Police began conducting surveillance of the business and saw Darrell Timms and a co-defendant arrive at the business after hours and begin loading large amounts of aluminum cans into the back of their car. Police immediately arrested both individuals. During the interview with police, the co-defendant admitted to stealing a large volume of aluminum cans on multiple dates from RB Bakers and Sons and then selling the cans at a scrap yard in Laurel, Delaware.
