On April 17, 2016 a Maryland State Trooper stopped a vehicle in Queen Anne’s County driven by 20 year old Darin Lorenzo March of Bowie, Maryland as the operator, March, was using his cell phone while operating the vehicle. The Trooper initiated a probable cause search of the vehicle and located marijuana and 2 handguns. March was charged with possession of marijuana and firearm violations.
March was subsequently convicted of possession of marijuana and possession of a firearm by a minor. The guns have been forfeited and Mr. March was sentenced to 30 months in jail, which was all suspended but for 20 days. Following his release from jail, March will be on supervised probation for two years.
