Lance Richardson, State’s Attorney For Queen Anne’s County, is officially sworn in at the Queen Anne’s County Circuit Court on January 7, 2019.  Clerk of The Circuit Court, Katherine Hager, administered the official oath of office to Mr. Richardson. (Pictured left)

Mr. Richardson was appointed State’s Attorney in January of 2009 to fill the vacancy left by then State’s Attorney Frank Kratovil.  Lance has since been re-elected to serve as State’s Attorney in 2010, 2014 and 2018.

Mr. Richardson is supported in his role as State’s Attorney by 11 employees which consist of a Chief of Staff, (2) Deputy State’s Attorneys, (2) Assistant State’s Attorneys, (2) victim/witness support staff and (4) legal assistants.
