Tyler F.R. Korman was convicted in the Queen Anne’s County Circuit Court of conspiracy to possess marijuana with the intent to distribute and was sentenced to a weekend in jail as well as a period of supervised probation. The events surrounding Mr. Korman’s arrest stem from a traffic stop by Tpr. Phillippi on August 13, 2017. Mr. Korman’s vehicle was stopped for speeding and during the business of the traffic stop the Trooper detected the odor of marijuana coming from within the vehicle. A search was conducted and the officer located 3 heat sealed bags of marijuana. Korman was arrested on drug-related charges and his vehicle and cell phone were seized.
