Lance G. Richardson graduated from Queen Anne’s County High School in 1986 as Co-Valedictorian. He was active in soccer, wrestling and lacrosse. He received his college degree from the University of Maryland in 1990 and graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1994. After working for one year in private practice as an Associate with Kopen & Quick, LLP in Easton, Richardson worked as an Assistant Public Defender in Queen Anne’s County from 1996 to January 2003 when he was hired by Frank M. Kratovil, Jr. as a Deputy State’s Attorney.
Richardson has been a coach of youth sports, an instructor in alcohol and drug education and diversion programs, served as President of the Mid-Shore Pro Bono project, President of the Queen Anne’s County Bar Association and trustee on the Queen Anne’s County Free Library Board of Directors. He is a Character Counts coach for the second grade at Church Hill Elementary School.
Mr. Richardson lives in Church Hill with his wife Denise, their daughter Paige and their son Garrhett.
